I, Charles W. Hart, while enroute from Nebraska to Michigan experienced an accident involving my 1967 Land Rover and an 18-wheel semi. My vehicle hit ice and flipped onto it's side, and the moving van rammed into the belly of the Land Rover when it couldn't stop in time...

My status today (March 27, 2002). (The picture at the top of this page was taken early in year 2000.)
Here is what the Land Rover looked like before the accident.
And after... and I'd had this vehicle for 30 years!
This gives you a clear idea of how I was hit.
Not a lot left for salvage.
Hard to imagine how a driver survived... 
But survive I did, despite extensive injuries, and am now on the long road to recovery.
